Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Sedation - also known as laughing gas, helps to reduce anxiety and provide a more comfortable dental experience. This form of sedation returns the patient to normal by the end of the appointment.

Pre-Medication Sedation - requires ingestion of an anti-anxiety, relaxation drug prior to the visit. This mandates that the patient has arranged transportation to and from the office for the appointment and may last 24-48 hours after the appointment.
