Endodontic Therapy

Endodontic Therapy is the branch of dentistry that treats infections or injuries to the pulp (nerve) inside the teeth.

Endodontic procedures include:

Root Canal Therapy - the removal of the infected or injured pulp (nerve) from the inside of the tooth. (more info) (post treatment)

Pulpotomy - the removal of the pulp (nerve) in the coronal portion of the tooth; this procedure is normally performed on deciduous (baby) teeth. (more info)

Pulpectomy - the removal of the entire pulp (nerve) of a deciduous (baby) tooth. (more info)

Endodontic Surgery - these procedures are utilized in the treatment of more advanced infections and usually involve collaboration with an Endodontist.
