Dr. John Anton, a native of Long Island, New York, graduated Cum Laude from St. Johns University with a BA in Economics in 1975. He went on to receive a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from New York University in 1978. While in dental school, he received a scholarship from the United States Public Health Service. Upon graduation, he was selected for membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society and received an award from the American Academy of Oral Pathology for excellence. After graduation, he entered into a career with the U S Public Health Service working in various locations around the American Southwest. During that time, he continued his education with a 2 year Advanced General Practice Residency Program at the Phoenix Indian Medical Center where he received a wealth of training and experience in all areas of dental care. Retiring after 20 years of government service in 1998, Dr. Anton entered a new phase in his career as an Associate Dentist at Southern Boulevard Dental Corporation.

Dr. Anton is a member of the Albuquerque District Dental Society, New Mexico Dental Society, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, West Mesa Study Club, and the New York University Dental Alumni Association.

Dr. Anton has been married for 26 years to his wonderful wife Diane and has three children- Amy, Matthew and Kristina.
